Add/Edit Wizard Overview

The Add/Edit Wizard task enables you to add data for portfolio items and for leases with the wizard guiding you through the data entry process. Portfolio items can include buildings, structures, and land. These portfolio items can be owned or leased, and you can record leases and subleases for them.

You can access the Add/Edit Wizard task from the Portfolio Management or Lease Administration applications. You can add or edit information for any portfolio item from either application. However, from the Lease Administration/Add/Edit wizard, you can add base rents, options, clauses, and amendments. You cannot add this information when you load the Add/Edit Wizard task from Portfolio Management.

When working from the Add/Edit Wizard, you work through the following steps to add and edit data for your portfolio items and leases:

  1. Select an Action and Type .
  2. Select Ownership (for buildings, structure, and land).
  3. Enter Information for the Building, Structure, or Land.
  4. Enter Leases (when adding or editing leases)
