ARCHIBUS, Inc. Courses include:
EU-101 ARCHIBUS Fundamentals
ARCHIBUS Fundamentals is a four-day course designed to teach the basic skills needed to work effectively with ARCHIBUS
and provide an overview of its many business applications. Participants will learn about the basic components of ARCHIBUS
- databases, drawings, and reports; and its basic applications - Overlay for AutoCAD, Enterprise, and Web Central. Participants
will become competent in the four core ARCHIBUS domains: Space Management, Building Operations, Real Property/Lease, and
Furniture and Equipment. They will also learn how to take advantage of the information stored in the core using newer features
like Move Management, Project Management, and Capital Budgeting.
EU-102 ARCHIBUS Applications
ARCHIBUS Applications is a half-day to one-day course for each application or special topic. Applications and Special Topics
classes are scheduled in conjunction with the ARCHIBUS Fundamentals course by request.
Each ARCHIBUS application contains its own set of features and functionality to address the unique needs of
various workflow processes. These courses are intended for users who are familiar with the ARCHIBUS basic functionality and are
looking for specific, detailed, hands-on training in particular areas. Function-specific training is available for each of the
ARCHIBUS applications as well as for special topics.
EU-103 ARCHIBUS Training On-Demand
ARCHIBUS On-Demand is a by-the-hour course designed to introduce an application or special topic over the world-wide web. The 1-2
hour course can act as a refresher course or provide a chance to learn more about an unfamiliar application or topic. The course is
conducted via the web and is meant to give users a general introduction to a specific ARCHIBUS application or topic.
The ARCHIBUS On-Demand course consists of a general overview followed by a question and discussion period. The On-Demand courses are
scheduled by request and are billed by the hour.
SA-201 ARCHIBUS System Administration
This three-day course covers changing the ARCHIBUS user interfaces – the Process Navigator in the Overlay for AutoCad, Enterprise,
and Web Central, the Domain Navigator, and the Hotlist. It also covers creating and altering view files, understanding properties and
methods of the view object, installing and upgrading, implementing security, and changing control information in schema tables with and
without affecting the structure of the database. The course covers both ARCHIBUS Enterprise and Web Central.
SI-301 ARCHIBUS System Integration: Enterprise
This two-day course explores ARCHIBUS Basic Script Extension Language. Basic Script focuses on the internals of the ARCHIBUS
program—detailing how to create dialogs, define data-entry forms, implement specialized commands, and execute embedded SQL statements.
ARCHIBUS AutoLISP extensions show how to tap into the power of ARCHIBUS from within AutoCAD as well.
SI-302 ARCHIBUS System Integration: Web Central
This three-day hands-on session explores the FM Web Central interface and under-lying technology. FM Web Central is a feature-rich Web
