Projects Calendar

The Monitor process includes a Projects Calendar task. This report is a View Analysis view. If you click on an item in the calendar, a detail view is displayed for the project, work package, or action you selected.

The Projects Calendar varies based on the criteria that you specify.

To display a projects calendar:

1. Use the Filter console to restrict the actions shown in the calendar.:
   1. You can restrict by the project location, the organization requesting the project, program or project information, Approving Manager, or action type.
   2. For the Display Action By field, specify whether to display projects, work packages, or actions.

      Note: In order to display work packages, you must first specify a Project Name in the console.

   3. Click Show.

      The calendar displays the items that meet your restriction.

2. At the top of the calendar, use the controls to select the time period shown.
   • You can select by day, by work week, by week, or by month. When you make a selection, the calendar refreshes to show the specified time frame.

     Note: The number of days of the week that are displayed as work days is based on the Days Per Week value that you specified for a project or work package. For example, if you specified 5 days as the project/work package Days Per Week value, Monday-Friday are displayed as work days. Holidays are not displayed.

   • If you select by day, you must enter a day in the calendar field. By default, this field is set to the current day.
   • Use the prev and next buttons to advance the calendar to the previous or next day, week, or month, depending on the time frame that is selected.
   • Click Today, to set the calendar to show actions for the current day.
