design submission

Design and construction standard developed by collaboration between the design professional and the commissioning agent, using the Owner's Project Requirement document as a basis for developing these basic requirements for a work package. This collaboration and review occurs during the design phase.

Design submissions might be developed using a series of drafts that represent milestone statuses for your project. For example, if the design being 40%, 60%, and 80% completed are milestones in your approval process, then you would enter design submissions for each of these milestone statuses.

When submissions are approved, they become available in the construction phase; for example approved submissions can become construction checklists or testing procedures in the construction phase.
